Opportunity:
Occupational Therapist – Occupational Therapy
Job Details:
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with some flexibility in hours to achieve 40 hours per week
• No weekend or holiday requirements
• Outpatient care setting covering the Marshfield Center
• Treat 9 to 12 patients per day
• Common diagnoses include general outpatient orthopedics, pediatrics, hand therapy, neurology, and lymphedema
• Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, re-evaluation, and manual therapy
• Minimum 1 year of experience including internships accepted; first-time travelers welcome
• Nice to have skills include dry needling, pediatrics, certified hand therapy, neurology, and lymphedema experience
• Business casual dress code required
• Charting system: Cerner
• All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) via NBCOT
• CHT certification preferred
• Wisconsin state license required
Facility:
This facility is a Level 2 trauma center offering a comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation department with a dedicated team of occupational therapists, therapy aides, and appointment coordinators. The outpatient OT department is supported by rehab aides who assist with front-end to back-end services including registrations, scheduling, and equipment maintenance. The organization provides a structured onboarding and orientation process, including CBT modules and shadowing opportunities with experienced therapists during the first week.
