Opportunity:
RN – MedSurg
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which can be taken in hourly increments as needed; unit typically low censuses in 4-hour increments and may ask travelers to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days and 1:6-7 on nights
• Care for adult patients with conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Travelers on the MAP Unit do not take Pediatrics patients
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: Any color
