Opportunity:
MRI Technologist – MRI
Job Details:
• Monday through Friday schedule from 6:15 AM to 2:45 PM with occasional weekend on-call
• Weekend rotation required at a maximum of every 3rd weekend
• On-call Saturday and Sunday nights from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Back-up on-call Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• 30-minute response time required for on-call
• Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call, with weekend on-call occurring approximately once every 8 weeks
• Weekend on-call includes on-site Saturday hours with a compensatory weekday off scheduled
• Holiday coverage based on unit needs
• 3 days of orientation provided
• 3 to 5 years of MRI experience required
• First-time travelers welcome
• Weekly patient census of 250 to 300 patients
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Patient types include outpatient, inpatient, and ED patients with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body, and cardiac cases
• GE and Siemens scanner experience required
• Experience with advanced imaging procedures including cardiac, functional, neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and specialty exams required
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
• Required equipment experience: EPIC, GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magnetom Skyra, and McKesson PACS
• No floating required – MRI only assignment
• Support available from Lead Tech/Coordinator and Imaging Assistants; traveler will never be alone
• Scrub color: any professional color

This is a large, highly specialized medical center featuring six MRI scanners, a blend of GE and Siemens equipment, and an extensive range of advanced imaging procedures. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Primary Stroke Center, and holds Magnet Designation, with 933 beds.
