Opportunity:
MRI Technologist – MRI
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with occasional weekend on-call rotations
• Weekend on-call rotation occurs approximately once every 8 weeks, including on-site Saturday hours with a compensatory weekday off scheduled
• On-call coverage Saturday and Sunday nights from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Back-up on-call Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• 30-minute response time required for on-call shifts
• Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call
• Holiday scheduling based on unit needs
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Weekly census of 250-300 patients
• Work with outpatient, inpatient, and ED patients including those with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body, and cardiac cases
• 3-5 years of MRI experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
• Required charting systems and equipment: EPIC, GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magnetom Skyra, and McKesson PACS
• GE and Siemens scanner experience required
• Assignment is MRI only with no floating to other units
• 3-day orientation provided
• Support available from Lead Tech/Coordinator and Imaging Assistants – traveler will never be alone
• Professional scrubs of any color required

This facility is a large 933-bed hospital offering a dynamic and cutting-edge MRI environment featuring six scanners, a blend of GE and Siemens equipment, and an extensive range of advanced imaging procedures including cardiac, functional, neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and specialty exams. The facility holds a Level II Trauma Center designation, Level III NICU, Magnet Designation, and Primary Stroke Center status. Staff benefit from a collaborative team of experienced Technologists and Imaging Assistants working together in a fast-paced, highly specialized setting.
