Opportunity:
MRI Technologist – MRI
Job Details:
• Work in a dynamic MRI environment with six scanners (currently operating five), including a blend of GE and Siemens equipment
• Perform an extensive range of advanced imaging procedures including cardiac, functional, neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and specialty exams
• See a weekly census of 250-300 patients with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Treat outpatient, inpatient, and ED patients including those with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, and whole body cases; cardiac experience preferred
• 3-5 years of MRI experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
• Proficiency required with EPIC, GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magnetom Skyra, and McKesson PACS
• GE and Siemens scanner experience required
• Experience with the listed patient types required
• Assignment is MRI only with no floating to other departments
• 3-day orientation provided
• Weekend rotation with a maximum of every 3rd weekend
• On-call responsibilities on Saturday and Sunday nights from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Backup on-call Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM with a 30-minute response time required
• Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call; weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks and includes on-site Saturday hours with a compensatory weekday off
• Holiday scheduling based on unit needs
• Professional scrubs of any color required
• Free parking available
• Lead Tech/Coordinator and Imaging Assistants available for support; traveler will never be alone

This facility is a large 933-bed hospital holding Magnet Designation and serving as a Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center. The MRI department operates a cutting-edge imaging environment supported by an experienced team of Technologists and Imaging Assistants who collaborate in a fast-paced, highly specialized setting. The organization is committed to delivering advanced, high-quality imaging services across a wide range of patient populations and clinical specialties.
