Opportunity:
Surgical Tech – CVOR
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday on day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations as needed
• On-call requirements include 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 backup per week with a 30-minute response time requiring readiness in the OR within that timeframe
• May occasionally require additional mandated call
• Every 3rd weekend rotation and holiday rotation required
• Efficiently set up operative suites for patients and verify all supplies are available through case carts
• Scrub surgical cases across a variety of specialties including cardiac and thoracic procedures
• Thoracic robot experience required
• Turn over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Work within a team supporting 3 cardiothoracic surgeons performing approximately 50-60 cases per month
• Perform downtime tasks as needed including pulling case carts and cleaning
• Utilize Epic charting system
• Scrub colors: any color
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license required (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted); AHA or ARC certifications required
• Required education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or Certificate preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of CVOR experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Must be flexible, motivated, resilient, adaptable to change, and possess an excellent work ethic
