Opportunity:
Scrub Tech – OR
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Every 3rd weekend rotation required with blackout dates for Christmas and New Year's
• Rarely asked to take on-call shifts
• No float requirements
• Perform scrub tech duties for C-section cases, both planned and emergent, averaging 3-4 cases per day
• Assist with transport from room to OR
• Perform CNA duties between cases including vital signs, ambulating, stocking, and baby baths
• Assist with circumcision procedures including set up and take down
• Tech for vaginal deliveries as needed
• Utilize Jada system for hemorrhage management
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, manage change well, and be a social candidate
• Hospital-provided teal scrubs required
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license required (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted); AHA or ARC certifications required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Minimum 1 year experience in OB setting required; first-time travelers must have 2 years of experience
• Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program required
• High School Diploma required
