Opportunity:
RN – LTC
Job Details:
• Evening shift, 8-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend rotation required with some holiday coverage
• Night shift RN will assume charge duties and may be the only RN in the facility
• Patient ratio of 1:20 with 1 RN per hall and med tech per hall; CNA ratio of 1:8-10 on days and 1:20 on nights
• Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding required for all RN units
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience required
• Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patients include adults and geriatrics with a daily census of up to 60 patients across 66 beds
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
• Pass/fail telemetry exam required prior to start with a passing score of 80% or higher; two attempts allowed
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), Wisconsin RN license or compact license

This long-term care facility is part of a larger health system with more than 80 primary and specialty care clinics located throughout the region and surrounding areas. The facility serves a daily census of up to 60 patients across 66 beds and is dedicated to providing an exceptional patient and family experience through high-quality, compassionate care. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams. Free parking is available on-site.
