Opportunity:
RN – ICU
Job Details:
• 13-week contract with a start date of December 7th
• 12-hour night shifts guaranteed at 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: 2 weekends out of 4 as needed; nights are Friday/Saturday, days are Saturday/Sunday
• Holiday rotation required; observed holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview locations
• No on-call or back-up requirements; additional shifts may be available for sick call coverage
• Primary unit is the Medical/Surgical ICU with a case mix of medical and surgical patients including joint replacements and general surgical patients
• Unit has 11 beds designated for isolation patients
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC certifications required); Wisconsin RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; Med/Surg experience and travel experience required
• Must be competent in both ICU and Med/Surg settings
• Must be able to request no more than 7 days of RTO for the duration of the contract
• Scrub color requirement: dark blue
• Guaranteed hours are not applicable during orientation week
• Must live outside 50 miles from the facility
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
