Opportunity:
RN – IMC
Job Details:
• 12-hour variable day and night shift schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 9-week contract length
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every other holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, with potential to float to Wisconsin Rapids, Plover, and Divine Savior locations
• May be placed on low census call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Work in a Med Surg Intermediate Care Unit handling telemetry, stable patients, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, stroke, and primary patients on insulin drips
• Patient ratio of 4:1 in a 12-bed ICU unit and 23-bed MS unit
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• EPIC charting experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Stepdown, Intermediate Care, or PCU required
• At least one completed travel contract required – no new travelers
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC certifications required)
