Opportunity:
Scrub Tech – OR
Job Details:
• Work 4 days per week in 10-hour day shifts, with variable start times normally from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Earlier start times of 6:30 AM or later start times of 8:00 AM or 9:00 AM may be required depending on cases
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call required 1-2 times per week from end of shift to 7:00 AM the next day
• Every 4th weekend on-call required covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through 7:00 AM on Monday
• Holiday call is required, though no holiday shifts
• Call-back minimum is 2 hours
• May be placed on low census call when census is low
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required
• Strong orthopedic and C-section experience required
• Must be experienced in sterile processing
• Utilizes Epic charting system
• Works with standard surgical supplies and instruments
• Scrub colors provided by facility
