Opportunity:
Surgical Tech – CVOR
Job Details:
• 8-hour variable shifts
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• On-call requirements include 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 back-up per week with a 30-minute response time – must be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes
• May occasionally require additional mandated call
• Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation required
• May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations if needed
• Set up operative suites for patients and verify all supplies are available through case carts
• Scrub surgical cases across a variety of specialties and turn over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Cardiac and thoracic experience required, including thoracic robot experience
• Work with a team of 3 cardiothoracic surgeons performing approximately 50-60 cases per month
• Willing to complete downtime tasks such as pulling case carts and cleaning
• Uses Epic charting system
• Any scrub color permitted
• Minimum 2+ years of CVOR experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license required (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted); AHA or ARC certifications required
• Required education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or Certificate preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the primary facility location

The facility operates a high-volume cardiovascular and thoracic surgery program with a dedicated CVOR team.
